Test case -- the police have not been able to recommend a prosecution to
the CPS. The scam goes like this:
A company takes out a newspaper advert, claiming to be able to supply hard
core, imported pornographic videos. The prices are reasonable and people
order, using cheques. After several weeks, the company write back
explaining that under the present law they are unable to supply the
materials, and do not wish to be prosecuted, so they return the punters
money, in the form of a company cheque. However, due to the name of the
company "The Anal Sex and Fetish Perversion Company" few people bother to
present the cheques at their bank!
