Officials of the former East and West Germanys will be gathering soon
near the Brandenburg Gate to celebrate the anniversary of the Berlin
Wall's destruction. This celebration will begin with an exchange of
greetings, and then, as a gesture of good will, the residents of East
Germany will hand over 650,000 tennis balls they have accumulated over
the last 30 years.
